Working Towards Sustainable Transformative Pedagogy
Art as Education (ACE) understands “art” as a means of thinking flexibly and not limited by disciplines, that is, as a meta-discipline, applicable to all teaching and learning processes.
We develop methodologies for diverse educational environments, both formal and nonformal, with the aim of generating collaborative actions informed by local contexts.
We establish cross-cultural collaborations with governments, NGOs, educational and cultural institutions (public and private) and diverse communities. Our work includes: course development, pedagogical strategies, curriculum design, conceptualizing educational materials and exhibitions, professional development, educational residencies, among other actions.
